As Mother Nature gathers all her efforts to bloom in the spring, the first shoots budding before Gokwoo* are meticulously hand-harvested leaf by leaf to create this tea. Our peerless tea steeps a bright, green liquor possessing a light sweet taste with delicate undertones of clean grassiness.

Comprised exclusively of the very first harvest of each spring season, this special grade represents the earliest expression of the tea garden each year. Only the first tender buds and leaves are selected, resulting in extremely limited annual production determined by the natural yield of the tea fields.

Our signature green teas are crafted from leaves harvested across multiple Honam Tea Estates throughout Jeolla-namdo. Each estate contributes its own unique character, shaped by differences in climate, elevation, soil, and geography. By carefully combining teas from our  multiple plantations, we are able to achieve exceptional balance, complexity, and consistency from year to year while preserving the distinctive qualities of each harvest.
