Honam Tea Estates

Since 1951, Hankook Tea has directly managed the cultivation and production of teas from our Honam Tea Estates. By overseeing every stage of the process—from field to finished tea—we maintain exceptional standards of quality, consistency, and traceability, ensuring an authentic expression of Korean tea in every cup.

Located throughout the Jeolla-namdo province of South Korea, the locations for our tea estates were carefully selected for their ideal growing conditions, including abundant rainfall, fertile soils, favorable temperatures, and pristine natural surroundings. The estates are distributed across multiple growing regions to help ensure consistent quality and harvest stability from year to year.

Honam Tea Estates are cultivated using environmentally responsible, pesticide-free, and non-GMO farming practices that work in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem. Each tea plant is allowed to grow at its natural pace, producing leaves that reflect the character of the land and the care invested in every harvest.

All teas are processed in our HACCP and FSSC 22000 certified facilities, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of food safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing excellence.
