"Suk Hyang" (meaning "stone aroma") is made from a rare incense wood (Juniperus chinensis var. sargentii) that grows in the crevices of the volcanic rocks of Ulleung-do Island off the east coast of Korea. Along with Aquilaria agallocha, the juniper of Ulleung-do is recognized around the world because of its great fragrance of Pterocarpus Santalinus wood.

This juniper is called Suk Hyang (Seokhyang) or Ulhyang because it is known to grow after taking root in the rocky crevices of the granite island. Made of the dead tree resin that comes from juniper which is naturally ripened over a long period, has a specifically mild yet thick fragrance, and the profound fragrance lasts longer. The deep fragrance will present the relaxation we fell in our cozy hometown when we are tired of ordinary living.
