For two consecutive generations, Hankook Tea's founder Yang Won Seo, succeeded by his son Minsoo Seo, have each been appointed as the 34th and 54th Grand Master by the Ministry of Agriculture of South Korea, holding the title for both MALCHA (powdered green tea) as well as HWANG CHA (partially oxidized tea).
