For those unaccustomed to green tea, we have carefully blended the crisp flavor of summer harvest green tea with the toasty mellow sweetness of roasted brown rice. Conveniently packed in teabags, it is ideal for use at home, at the office, or on the go.

Korean Hyunmi Nokcha vs. Japanese Genmai Cha:
Some differences are in the ratio of brown rice to green tea, as well as the process used for the brown rice.

Genmai Cha tends to have a higher ratio of brown rice to add to a more toasty sweet flavor and a very subtle green tea taste. Our Hyunmi Nokcha (Korean Brown Rice Green Tea) has a more even ratio of brown rice to green tea, allowing for the flavors of both to come out more evenly.

In Genmai Cha, the brown rice is popped (which is why sometimes it looks like little popcorn). This, again, brings out more of the toasty sweet flavor. In our Hyunmi Nokcha, the brown rice is roasted, which produces more of a deep, roasted flavor.
