Return Policy

We understand that ordering online comes with the risk that what you see is not necessarily what you might get. We make every effort to display accurate pictures and descriptions to make your shopping experience a pleasant one. If for any reason, you need to make a return or would like to change something, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Hankook Tea inspects all items for quality prior to shipment and is in good condition when packaged and shipped out. We make every effort to package all items carefully. However, because of the fragile nature of some of our items, things may break from time to time. All items should be inspected immediately upon receipt. If damage is detected to the outside of the package at the time of receipt, please report it directly to the delivery driver (if possible).

Any problems with the quantity or quality must be reported to us within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. Please have the original receipt or an order number handy for quicker processing.


Broken/Damaged Items:

We will make a refund or send a replacement for broken/damaged items at no extra cost. If damage is detected at the time of delivery, please report it directly to the driver if possible.

If a portion of a set (i.e. teapot from a tea set or lid of a cup) is broken or damaged, replacements and refunds will be given ONLY for the broken portion. No extra shipping charges or fees will be charged. If only a portion of the set is broken but an entire new set is requested, the original set needs to be returned. No extra shipping charges or fees will be charged for the replacement. However, shipping charges for returning the original set will not be reimbursed.


Missing or Wrong Item: 

If a missing item is reported, we will correct the problem right away by giving a refund or sending a replacement at no extra cost. If a refund is requested, any additional fees or charges incurred (shipping, taxes, etc.) due to the missing item will also be refunded.

If a different item than what was ordered is sent, an exchange will be made at no additonal cost. The replacement item will be sent out immediately and a return label will be provided to return the incorrect item. If the incorrect item is not returned within ten (10) days of receiving the return label, you will be charged the full retail value of the item at the time of the original purchase.



If you simply did not like an item or change your mind about your purchase, you have thirty (30) days from the date of purchase to make a return. Refunds will be made within 2-3 business days of receiving the returned merchandise. In order to receive a full refund, the item must be unopened and in its original form. Shipping will not be refunded. Please contact us before making any returns in order to ensure proper processing.
