At Hankook Tea, our goal is to bring to you the finest artisan teas and tea ware at affordable prices. To make shopping with Hankook Tea Company more convenient, you can now purchase online, over the phone and in our stores.

ONLINE: The shop “that never sleeps”, you can now view our extensive collection of teas and tea ware with just a click of a mouse. Simply browse through our online products page and select which product you would like to purchase.

If you are a retailer and would like to carry our teas and tea ware, please contact us for wholesale information.

BY PHONE: Please call us at 213.380.3538 during our business hours (10:00 am - 4:00 pm PST). Just give us a call and we will be more than happy to assist you in making your purchases or answer any questions that you might have.

BY EMAIL: Please write down which item, the item number and what quantity and email us at chasaengwon@gmail.com.

Be sure to include:
• Your full name
• Billing Address for Credit Card
• Shipping Address (please indicate if this is a residential address or not)
• The best telephone number to reach you
• Credit Card Number and Expiration Date (PHONE ONLY) - For emails, we will call you separately to get this information
• Shipping service (FedEx Ground, Overnight, etc.)

Payment Options:

Online purchases from Hankook Tea  must be made using a credit card. We currently accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express. We charge your credit card when you place order to provide faster processing and shipping.

Safety:

Entering your credit card information at the Hankook Tea online storefront is safe. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure your payment information is processed with accuracy and confidentiality.

Store Name:

Your purchases will appear as “HANKOOK TEA” on your credit card statement.

Gift Orders:

All individual gift orders must be placed as separate orders. If preferred, a compiled list of items and shipping information (name and address) may be faxed or emailed to us, along with your information (billing address, payment information). Shipping, taxes and any other applicable fees will be calculated during check-out.

If you would like gift wrapping or a message to be included, please make a note in the note section.

Gift Certificates:

Hankook Tea gift certificates are available for purchase online or by calling us at 213-380-3538 or 1-888-WAY-OF-TEA (929-6383). The minimum amount is $20.00 and the maximum is $1,500.00. Gift certificates are delivered either by email or mail. Gift certificates may be redeemd for items through our online and retail stores.

Pricing:

The price of imported goods change frequently and we do our best to keep our website prices updated and current. Prices are subject to change without notice. If the current price of an item is more than 10% higher than what is stated on our website, we will contact you before shipping the product.

In Stock/Out of Stock Items:

We make every attempt to have the items on our website in stock at all times and updated in our inventory. But sometimes, due to reasons out of our control, there will be times when an item will not be in stock.

Limited Production:

Sometimes, we may be out of some of our teas for a period of time because, for some of the higher grades of green tea, there’s only a limited amount of teas produced every season. As for the tea ware, sometimes the artist simply stops making them.

Delayed Shipments:

All of our products are imported from Korea. If an item that is ordered is out-of-stock and is not expected to arrive within one (1) month of the order date, we will contact you immediately to discuss further action.  If the item that is out-of-stock is expected to arrive within one (1) month, we will put it on backorder and keep you updated by email.

Sales Tax:

All taxable items sent to California addresses will be charged the current California sales tax.

Taxable items in California are non-food items, such as pottery, teapots, tea containers, accessories, etc. Food items (tea) will not be taxed. Taxes that appear on your online orders are approximate. The actual taxes charged to your credit card will reflect the applicable state and local sales taxes, and will be calculated when your order is shipped. Orders shipped to CA will have all applicable local and state sales taxes added to your total, and to your shipping charges where appropriate.
